he that ministereth seed to the sower – 2 Corinthians 9:10

If we consider a physical field, when the farmer wanted to get ready for the season, he will buy the seeds to sow in his fields. He will go and but the seeds which he wanted to plant in his field. That means, the seeds are not with the farmer but he need to go the source where he can get the seeds and provide the seller the required money and buy the seeds.

Now when it comes to our life both physical and spiritual, our life is the ground but the seeds are to be bought. We have two seed sources. One is our loving heavenly Father and the other is satan. The heavenly father has seeds that makes us satisfied, taste and acknowledge the grace of God and glory of God. On the other hand satan has seeds that are rebellious, makes us addicted and bounded even after tasting his bitterness.

Today is the beginning of the season, if you want to reap the harvest of joy, happiness, the fulness of the glory of God, ask, seek and knock at the door of the God. If you are lazy enough satan utlizes the opportunity even if you are not inviting him and pull and trick you to fall into his trap.

Some examples of seeds that we can ask God are as below:

1. Clarity of calling: When you ask God to provide this seed of the clarity of your calling. God provides you the seed, nurtures it and makes sure you bring forth fruit which is acting according to your calling.
2. Breakthrough in career: a break through is also like a seed. Because, it is the small turning point in our life, but impacts great in our life.
3. Marriage and family establishment: Marriage is very precious in anyone’s life. Most of us are very much eager to get into a relationship without waiting in the presence of God. If we wait upon him, he will open the doors for us to the best companion for life and blesses the marriage with happiness and joy.

In this way, we can apply this to any thing in our life whether it is career, relationship, money, ministry etc,. Our God gives the right and the best seed that you could ever imagine. May the Lord help us to look towards him for the seed from now onwards.

Prayer

Dear Loving heavenly Father, thank you for reminding me about the source of seeds. I confess that multiple times, I allowed the seeds of the enemy, to be sown in my life. But indeed my life belongs to you and you have the best seed for my life. Help me Lord to only receive the seeds from you in every situation. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!
