Unlocking Divine Guidance: Embracing Zeal and Safety in God’s Plan
When we gear up to stay firm in our faith, obstacles and challenges often show up to try and weaken our enthusiasm for God. Through my experiences and observations, I’ve realized that these roadblocks are always ready to pop up and test our dedication.
Often, when we face these challenges, our tired minds can give in to feelings of weakness, sadness, or worry. These things can tie us down and make us feel trapped. I’ve personally felt this way. I really want to serve the Lord and follow His plan for me. But somehow, I find myself dealing with either the strong pull of worldly concerns and guilt, or a surrounding that doesn’t support my goals.
Today, I felt like God told me something really important from Psalms 12:5. It says, “I will keep you safe, the safety you’ve been wanting.” Safety means not being affected by the challenges I mentioned earlier. It’s like being shielded from anything that tries to stop our growth.
There’s an important part in Psalms 12:5 that’s mentioned as a note in the KJV Bible. It says, “for which safety he is yearning for.” Yearning means really, really wanting something, like having a strong passion for it. So, what I got from this is that if I truly have a strong desire to work for the Lord, God will make a way for me. I need to show that passion to God, because He can see what’s in our hearts.
I’m ready to embrace this realization. As I reflect on Psalms 12:5 and the hidden message within, “for which safety he is yearning for,” I see that yearning is about having an intense, unshakeable craving for something. In my case, it’s a profound desire to work for the Lord. And now, I grasp that if I genuinely nurture this zeal and lay it before God, who sees the depth of my heart, opportunities will unfold. I’m eager to dive into this with full commitment and experience the guidance and truth of God firsthand. Amen to that.
