Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed – Romans 4:16

This verse talks about the promise made to Abraham. This promise is manifested not by doing something to please God by righteous works, but by displaying the faith in Him.

How Abraham displayed his faith?

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb -Romans 4:18-19

What was his motivation to believe that he will bring forth an off spring that will be blessed and own the promised land?

God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were – Romans 4:17

Abraham believed that God can bring even dead to life. That faith imputed on him the righteousness and made him to stand strong and experience the supernatural.

Now in our life, being a believer definitely we will have an experience having received a promised of God.

That promise could be regarding your career, family, health or ministry whatever it may be, if you believe that it is God’s promise and display your faith by acknowledging the faithfulness of God in this regard, the promise will come true in its own time.

Like Abraham’s condition the way for the fulfilment of your promise might be almost erased. But our God is the God who can make a way amidst of the deserts.

Don’t look at your situations but look unto God. And receive the strength like Abraham received it in his time.

Faith renews your strength to stand

Prayer

Dear loving heavenly Father, thank you for your love and grace. Thank you for reminding me about the nees of strong faith like Abraham. In the adverse conditions, when everything is turning negative, it is your word, your love, and your grace full me with hope. Help me to stand in this hope by faith. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!
