30-Mar-2024 – Your Faith is not in vain

thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you – Zechariah 4:9

In the old testament God was speaking to his children through the prophets. Mostly the word was sent to the kings, because they are responsible for the nation as a whole.

This reminds us an important point that a leader plays a very important role in the group he is responsible. If it is a family, the man of the house; if it is a team, the captain; if it is a company, the leaders; if it is your life, you are responsible.

When a prophet conveys the message he received to the leader, he accepts it as the word of God by faith. Because the word he accepted would not immediately manifest, but takes time.

In this scenario God is reminding in this verse, when He sends a word, we will definitely see the result or manifestation. Even when we forget about it, when it happens, we will realise that it was the word of God, that was sent.

In present days also, God speaks to us in many forms. Mostly God these days speaks to not just leaders but everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When God sends you a message either via his men of God in the church or via your personal fellowship with the word, God assures you today that, you will witness the manifestation of that word.

Today you might be waiting for the manifestation of the , or because of the delay, you might be in a fed up or given up situation. Today God assures you that, you will definitely witness the manifestation of your promise.

Your faith is in vain

Prayer

Dear loving heavenly Father, thank you for your unchanging love and compassion. When you say a word, it will not be in vain. You will not only send your promise, but you will also prepare me to receive it. Help me to understand this and continue in faith and hope. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
