19-Feb-2024 – Do you have heart to praise God in everything of your life?

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever – Psalms 145 : 21
Psalms are the most helping part of the Bible whenever we think about worshipping or praising God. They build such a deeper connection personally with each believer.
In this Psalm, we see the Psalmist praises the greatness, mightiness and splendor of God. By praising his wonderful works and terrible acts. These praises are describing the greatness of God in general.
Then onwards he goes based on his own experience. He praises God about his characters he experienced. His grace, compassion, slowness to anger, mercy and goodness. All these characters can only be understood by a personal experience.
Then again he describes the greatness of God as if he is telling to someone about God. How God lifts up the fallen and how he provides the needs in time, how he is near to them that calls upon him etc.
Finally he says, my mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord! If we carefully observe, the Psalmist is praising God when he received the good ness from God. He is also praising God’s character which enables him in his lowly, fallen, needy, troublesome state. Because of his praises and declaration, he is preparing his way of abundant blessings through the hands of God!
Now the question is, “Do you have heart to praise God in everything of your life?”
Prayer
Dear loving heavenly Father, thank you for your love and grace. Really it is your love, grace, goodness, mercy and slowness to anger are the reason for my life. Otherwise, I would have perished a long back. Help me to praise for every moment in my life. Teach me to build my life on the praises of your name! I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!
