07-Feb-2024 – Do you have faith to declare life?

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord – Ezekiel 37:4
In this well-known chapter, we often hear about the faithfulness of God, even in seemingly hopeless situations. Today, let’s explore the lessons God wants to teach us.
The prophet is led to a valley filled with dry bones, symbolizing an abandoned and desolate place where everything seems dead. It signifies a situation with no hope or life. God poses a question to the prophet: “Can these bones live?” The prophet, unsure of the answer, responds that only God knows. Importantly, he does not say “No.”
Furthermore, if we examine the situation closely, the bones belong to the Israelites, a people chosen by God. Despite their favored status, their circumstances took a tragic turn, and now their lives are reduced to mere dry bones. These bones symbolize situations that were once blessed or promised by God. However, due to our lack of faithfulness or our own recklessness, we squandered the opportunities granted by God. Yet, in this bleak scenario, God is now opening a supernatural door to breathe life into the opportunities that seemed gone and forgotten.
As He asked the prophet, “Can these dry bones live?” God is also posing the same question to you and me: Can your lost opportunity be revived? God already knows the answer, but as our loving Father, when He asks, it signifies His decision to revive. Now, the crucial question is, do you have the faith to declare a resounding “Yes”? You can confidently answer in the affirmative if you truly understand who God is to you — knowing His character, capability, and authority.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for your boundless love and grace. Thank you for the uplifting and supernatural message you shared with us today. In my life, there are opportunities that have faded away and been forgotten, opportunities that were once promised. I acknowledge that my own lack of discipline and foolishness contributed to their loss, as I failed to heed your guidance. Yet, I am thankful for your immense love that seeks to revive these opportunities. Guide me onto the right path to receive your renewed blessings, and may my life glorify your name. I pray in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
